Registration Details

SUMMER BASEBALL
Summer baseball at Eastern Little League includes our All-Star and Turkey Feet teams. Our All-Star teams for 7U-12U will play in Little League-sanctioned post-season tournaments. The Coach Pitch (7U-8U) District and State Tournaments will be played at Lake Reba Park in Richmond on June 22-26 and July 6-9, respectively. The Little League (9U-12U) District Tournament will be played at Harrison County June 28-July 3 and the State Tournament will be played in Corbin on July 20-24.

Turkey Feet is a baseball club set up to allow Eastern Little League players a summer travel team experience. Teams will be formed for 5U and 6U tee ball, 7U and 8U coach pitch, and 9U/10U/11U/12U player pitch. Teams will be formed based off of the age division that your child is playing at Eastern Little League this Spring.

Our All-Star teams (7U-12U) and first 5U and 6U Turkey Feet teams will be announced on Sunday, June 9 (the day after Championship Saturday). Once the first teams are announced, we will form the 2nd and 3rd teams in each age group (if there is sufficient interest) as quickly as possible. We will do our best to place all players on a roster. If we are unable to do so, your registration fee will be promptly refunded.

Practices begin after Eastern's end-of-season tournament is completed. All-star teams will practice 4-5 times per week to prepare for District and State Tournaments. Turkey Feet teams will generally practice 2-3 times per week, and each team typically plays in 3-4 tournaments on weekends through the Summer. Tournaments are typically in Lexington, or usually within an hour drive of town, so most of the time you are able to return home and have a large part of the day to get some rest and relaxation! Summer is a busy time for family vacations; our Turkey Feet coaches understand this and are willing to work around your family schedule the best that they can.

If you are interested in head coaching or assisting a Summer team, you must register to volunteer through the website while registering your player or by logging back into your account after your player is registered. All head coaches will be confirmed by the ELL Board of Directors.

REGISTRATION FEE:
5U/6U $150 per player
7U/8U $175 per player
9U/10U/11U/12U $225 per player

TRYOUTS
Location: Lower Merrick Field
5U: Sat, May 18th, 3-4pm
6U: Sat, May 18th, 4-5pm
7U: Sat May 18th, 5-6:15pm
8U: Sat, May 18th, 6:15-7:45pm

Please arrive 30 minutes before your designated time to warm up. Wear your regular season team jersey. Bring glove, helmet and bat. Only USA Baseball branded bats are allowed. Tee ball bats are not allowed for 7U and above. Tee ball bats are identified as such with small print on the barrel of the bat.

Tryouts will not be conducted for 9U/10U/11U/12U player pitch. These rosters will be formed at the conclusion of Eastern's season.

If you are registering for 7U-12U, you must indicate at the time of registration if your player will be unavailable for the District or State Tournaments due to vacations, camps or any other reason.
